There is no licence required to operate a pedestrian operated forklift or a pallet truck. However,
However, WH&S Duty of Care requires that operators have pedestrian forklift training or pallet truck training in plant and equipment they need to use in performing their expected duties.
This course covers the use of all types of Pallet Truck - manual / motorized walk-behind / motorized rider and pedestrian operated Forklift (walkie-stacker).

Assessment at the end of the pallet truck course or pedestrian forklift course
Outcome
Participants will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance after pedestrian forklift and pallet truck training in Sydney
Course Duration
Approximately 3 hours.
Times quoted are estimates only and will vary with group size and experience.
Location
Training is conducted onsite with the following requirements;
- a suitable machine, with a current log book (if applicable)
- a safe, open area in which to operate the machine/s
Identification
Applicants must be able to produce identification. E.g. Drivers licence / photo I.D. card.
There is no age requirement.
