This WorkCover approved WHS training course is for those who have previously completed the WorkCover OHS Consultation WHS training. If you have not completed this training first, check our schedule as we offer a full range of WHS training courses for you to choose from to ensure you are fully certified to do your job.
Our WHS course in Sydney will provide HSRs (Health and Safety Representatives) working under the new WHS Act 2011 with the additional skills and knowledge to work under the new WHS legislation. This WHS training in Sydney will include understanding how the role has changed with the new WHS legislation. Our training course also includes the new powers to issue PINS (Provisional Improvement Notice) and ceasing unsafe work directions. WHS representatives will receive complete training to meet all of the needs regarding the new changes under the new legislation to ensure that they understand their responsibilities.
Who Should Attend this WHS Course in Sydney?
Our WHS training course is for elected OHS Committee members or OHS Representatives in NSW who have become HSRs under the WHS Act and wish to gain an understanding of the management of work health and safety under the WHS framework and their powers and functions. All WHS representatives will need to take this bridge WHS training course in order to remain properly certified. Failure to take an approved WHS training course can result in the revocation of your certificate and being unable to continue in your position until you do.
